Happy Hump Day! (Wednesday) A few pearls of wisdom from the Guru Warren Buffett today. Price and Value. The difference between price and value. - Most simple analogy ever. If your key consideration is price, you might have considered buying the cheapest shoes that you find are pretty. Maybe $30. But this pair of shoe might fall apart after 5 times (hopefully not a single time) of wearing it out, and every time you wear it, it gives you blisters and pain. For $6 a wear. On the other hand, you could invest in a pair of branded flats for $500 (trust me, you could get branded flats at around or under $300 for a basic pair). You wear this shoe 50 times. Every time you wear it, it looks awesome, and brings your class up a notch. For $10 a wear. What would you have chosen? The following reminders are from @6amsuccess Warren Buffet On EarningNever depend on a single income. Make investment to create a second source. Warren Buffett On InvestmentDo not put all eggs in one basket. Warren Buffett On Taking RisksNever test the depth of a river with both feet. Warren Buffett On SavingDo not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving. Warren Buffett On SpendingIf you buy things you do not need, soon you'll have to sell things you need. Warren Buffett On ExpectationsHonest is a very expensive gift. Do not expect it from cheap people. Or fake people I might add. Reminders of Wisdom.
