ASTALIFT as a brand breaks through the skepticism I hold for skincare brands that have emerged in the past few years. After all, it's not difficult to personalise your own line of skincare if you have the funds because all you need to do is to contact a skincare factory in South Korea and they'll be happy to OEM/ODM (from the business perspective). ASTALIFT on the other hand, has credence because its parent company FUJIFILM (I mean, everyone knows the established FUJIFILM) is the only approved company to use stem cell sheets for regenerative medicine in Japan. Their stem cell research has successfully regenerated stem cell sheets from cells derived from normal human skin (sounds scary I know, but what better way is there?).

You need to be in the know to actually realise it exists - it is that exclusive. The first impression stepping into ESPA is really that of a retreat, never mind we came from bustling VivoCity instead of stepping off a plane. Everything in ESPA is in gorgeous nude tones. Something special about ESPAs worldwide is that they try to keep to the "flavour" of the country that they are in. Spanning 10,000 square metres of verdant forest, ESPA at Resorts World Sentosa is designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. Details of the available treatments are available at the RWS Sentosa website. Prices aren't as exorbitant as you would expect from an establishment that's so posh. The Essential Manicure (equivalent of a classic manicure with soaking, cut and filing, cuticle work, application of hand cream, and polish or buff) costs S$70 for 45 minutes. If you want to pamper yourself with the Advanced Manicure (additional nail shaping, exfoliating, massage, personalised mask, and paraffin waxing), it costs S$85 for 60 minutes. Truly reasonable. Prices stated are before 10% Service Charge and Prevailing Government Goods and Services Tax.
They really do have a large range of products. Alternatively, there are gift sets as well, and I think you can purchase them from https://www.espaskincare.com I visited in the night, so I wasn't able to get day-time pictures. Regardless, we were blown away by the facilities of ESPA. All customers who go to ESPA for their treatments are entitled to use their facilities. Alternatively, you can do a staycation and retreat and leave your worries behind! (handphone signal's not really great at ulu Sentosa, so it'll completely be like a holiday without reception xD) ESPA's signature facilities include:
ESPA has customisable lifestyle retreats that suits your preference, or you can choose to go for their Signature Retreats:-
Ranging from 1 to 3-night stays, or simply two-hour treatments, its an idea for anniversaries and birthdays! ESPA is located at: 8 Sentosa Gateway, ESPA, Singapore 098269 Contact number +65 6577 8880 It's exhilarating, and nerve-wrecking at the same time. I didn't realise it was Enchanted Fiore's first overseas order until my Dad heard about it and congratulated us. We shipped a luxury box of preserved roses to Thailand, Phuket a half metallic purple and gold Elegance arrangement. The lesson learnt is that we need to manage customer's wishes (or we end up killing ourselves, and having to pay more), and stick to our one-week delivery schedule for overseas orders. EasyParcel Review: Promises more but does not fulfil. So what happened is EasyParcel promises to be a platform that syncs your local and International deliveries, simply by entering origin to destination postal codes, both locally and internationally. Our customer had to have his parcel delivered by 6 October mid-day, and he ordered on 3 October. So on 3 October, before midnight, I ensured that we had enough credits (topped up via credit card) and managed to have the orders arranged for. SF Express for a local order, and UPS for the order to Thailand. As they were not able to inform us of the pick up time, I was at the office at 7am the next morning, to prepare for their pick up timing of 8.30am to 4pm (or something). Their system showed that there was 1 local pick up and 1 international pick up on 4 October. At 2pm plus, I was starting to get anxious, and therefore I contacted them via their live chat (it's insane that they don't have a number for us to call). Turns out they did not even assign our shipping. So what is their platform for? The record is as follows:- In the end I had to use Speedpost Express which ships between 1 - 2 days. and it cost the company $84. I got the $42 credits back from EasyParcel, but they just left it there.
The next day, because we have credits in the EasyParcel account right? So I again tried using their platform for on demand same-day courier. The price was $15 for a delivery with Carpal (delivers within 6 hours =.=). It showed that it was a successful booking. Because I didn't trust EasyParcel (for screwing us up the previous day), I again used the live chat to confirm that my parcel was assigned, ONLY TO KNOW THAT CARPAL IS NOT ABLE TO ASSIGN A CAR. So I fell back to LALAMOVE that delivered my parcel within 1 hour of collection from us, at $15. They again cancelled the transaction and refunded me 15 credits. No I have credits but do not know what to do with them. Sigh. Speechless. Hoping to find the perfect logistics solution for a time-sensitive fragile goods SME. |
