So I wanted to try (since I have all the freedom in the world, somewhat) butterfly eyeshadow colors eye make up next week, and as we know Google is our Best Friend. But Singaporeans are so judgmental, so there's somewhat an invisible line to toe?
Back to to the point. No creds for the photos because I'm writing this entry from my phone, and they're all from Google.
There you have it! Two possible looks to wear in Singapore!
blog update! :)
yay, the problem is I didn't use the eyeshadow primer :X
But this combination uses dark blue to frame The Eye liner (Eyeliner game strong), light blue shimmer on the outer creases of the lids, and yellowish shimmer on the inner lid. Probably for tanner skin should have used stronger colors to make it pop. Sad :(
Cheers to another day, and another try at butterfly eyes. <3
The summer-suiting style is extremely Singapore-unfriendly, but that doesn't mean we can't take a snippet of the trending looks and implement it in our sunny weather.
Off-duty statement suiting in the likes of Bella Hadi and Kendall Jenner is the most awesome thing (if you can wear whatever you want EVERYDAY), if you have a wardrobe full of quality shirts you can steal from.
So me, stealing Jenner's look.
If you wanna look sharp instead of HOBO, then do it with a tailored shirt. (This one's a men's slim cut Uniqlo shirt from Gabriel's extensive shirt collection) Because unless you're Kendall Jenner, it's killing-hard to pull off that exact outfit.
Do. Not. Do. This. Everyday.
Was headed along Haji Lane today towards Bali Lane for eyelash extension and nails, when I walked past Peaches Juice Bar and a few other food options on the go.
Post-session, since Bali Lane was not conducive for Grab-boarding, I walked back towards Haji Lane to order something as lunch. Went for the Avocadabra, which has the following ingredients: Avocado, Banana, Milk, Flaxseed, Honey, Ice for $5.
Not a fan of flaxseed, so I asked them to leave it out (though there was no reduction in price).
Generally, we expect around half an avocado for each drink, so that's standard. Consistency of the drink's okay, so they do blend it quite thoroughly as well.
However, what I was not in awe of, is really that they are not very careful with their processes.
The drinks were made just to the left of the tiny stall (which is perfectly fine), but... I was able to see that the banana used was bruised/overripe (you know, when they have that brownish translucent injured mashy part). So the lady cut the banana in half, and I was expecting her to cut the brown part out, but... she didn't. And I was clearly looking at her prepare the drink while her and her partner were happily chatting.
