I recall the first time I used a lip balm / moisturiser was probably around the time I was in Primary Five or Six, and it was Vaseline's Lip Essence (Tube form with gel-like lip balm, just like Himalaya's). At the point of transition between girlhood to womanhood, and girls in those days didn't make up that early, it was a chore to apply lip balm. The tube was therefore stashed in some compartment of my schoolbag that was doubtlessly sat on. Also, on application, you'll need to use tissue to wipe off the excess, which inadvertently led to a very messy situation because I didn't really have the habit of bringing tissues with me. From then on I moved on to chapstick-style lip moisturisers of all brands, never completely using any one to the point of completion. Lip care has recently made a comeback though, with Laneige's Lip Sleeping Mask being... the only lip mask I can think of :X
