Kunming Flower Market Knife Incident

Just heard from Kathy that there was a Knife stabbing incident in Kunming Flower Market tonight. 

Apparently a lot of people visit the market at night to purchase fresh cut flowers for business the next day. And the attack couldnt be stopped because the man was stabbed several times. 

So i googled Kunming Flower Market Violence. Nothing. A lot of informative articles about visiting the market. So i added the word "News" in. And the search result finally gave some hits about violence, and it was from March 2014 about knife incidents where 33 people were injured. 

Knife? Naturally because the knives are used to chop the fresh flowers. 

However the interesting thing is that it doesnt make the english newsworld (?). Perhaps reported in chinese, but we wouldnt have read it because its not local, and how many of us read worldwide news in chinese right (Then again, i THINK my dad does). 

Food for thought. Broaden the antenna? 
How much do we not know?
